About

Craig Allen Brown was born in Landstuhl, Germany. During his childhood, he split time between Dallas, Texas and Sacramento, California. After finishing high school at Franklin D. Roosevelt (Dallas, Texas), he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served for 22 years, the majority of which occurred overseas (South Korea, four tours in Germany, Iraq, Kuwait and Israel). After retiring from the Army, Craig Allen enrolled at Clark Atlanta University, and majored in mass media arts with a concentration in radio, television and film. Upon graduation, he was hired as a copy editor at The Atlanta Voice, and was promoted to managing editor shortly after. Currently, he is a middle school teacher in Fairburn, Georgia. He is also pursuing his master’s degree in sports administration at the University of Miami.

When he’s not writing or studying, he enjoys spending time with his wife Ursula and his two daughters, traveling, working out and listening to the world’s best music group, the Isley Brothers.
